My name is Eric Parker, and I have lived and worked in Placer County for more than 20 years in the cleaning, restoration, recycling, and waste management industries. Over the years, I’ve worked in everything from property rehabilitation and specialty cleaning to recycling facilities, landfill operations, and refuse collection routes. I have also contracted with the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency to help rehabilitate properties before new occupants move in.

My experience includes difficult and sensitive projects such as hoarder home cleanups, deep cleaning, and crime scene cleanup, all of which taught me the importance of compassion, professionalism, and treating people with dignity during challenging situations.

In 2021, my wife Laurie received a life-saving heart transplant. That experience changed our perspective on life and inspired us to give back in a more meaningful way. After receiving such an incredible gift, we decided to build something centered around purpose, environmental responsibility, and helping others.

That vision became Shore & Stream, PBC — a Public Benefit Corporation focused on environmentally responsible cleaning, waste diversion, recycling, and community impact. We created this company to combine the skills and experience I’ve built over decades with a mission to support cleaner communities, protect the environment, and help animals and people whenever possible.

We believe honest work can still make a positive difference, and while nobody is perfect, we believe progress starts by continuing to try every day.
